Another day, another ?

Well, today has been one of  mixed fortunes. I got a little work done on the book I’m writing (nothing exciting, it’s a Subversion training course) and I spent some time helping people our of the #svn IRC channel. What I did not get done was any substantial money earning work.

I really need to focus a lot more energy into converting the book (all 93,000 words, and counting) into the online course I keep trying to complete. Perhaps tomorrow. Perhaps.

I really just need to refocus my efforts. I’m sure that it will develop fairly quickly once I get stuck in, after all, most of the format, words and ideas are already worked out in the book. Mind you, it is depressing how much I keep seeing to add in. Oh well, mustn’t grumble.

On the plus side my accountant has informed me that last year was better than expected, which is good news considering I expect to earn very little this year. Fingers crossed that the book and course work eh?
