The reasons the comment was approved are simple:

  • It was relevant to the post and the link, albeit commercial, is also relevant to the topic of the post.
  • I’m all about free speech and try to only deny comments that are unrelated to the post on which they are placed.
  • I run my own business and know that making appropriate comments on blogs is a useful way to create links to my own websites – so it would be hypocrisy to deny others the opportunity.
